Rainbow Racquets Adelaide
SquashSA, inconjunction with Pride in Sport through the Pride in Sport Festival, is committed to creating a healthy sporting environment and a supportive community for LGBTQ+ people, allies, friends and family.
Squash SA is working with current squash players from the LGBTQ+ community to show that squash is a game for all, where everybody feels wlcome and respected on and off the court.
Squash SA are partnering with Adelaide University Sport and Fitness, through a Pride in Sport Festival grant, to promote inclusion opportunities to the LGBTQ community, allies, friends and family.
On April 12th from 9am -12noon, there will be a multi-sport activation at Adelaide University, Graduates Club House (Park10, MacKinnon Pde, North Adelaide).
This event will include displays and come ‘n’ try opportunities for sports like Squash, Fencing, Tennis, Hiking, Running and more.
There is no requirement to sign up, but spreading the word of this event, will help us signal the beginning of Rainbow Racquets Adelaide! Our vision is to create an inclusive LGBTQ+ squash club.
FREE “Come n Try” sessions at The ARC and at Flinders Uni.
Date: Sunday April 27, 1-4pm

Level 2, Allan Mitchell Sports Centre, Registry Rd, Bedford Park
Come 'n' Try sessions are open to anyone and will include the following:
- Instructions on how to play
- Opportunities to have a go at squash
- Free equipment to borrow
- Exhibition games from high level LGBTQ+ squash players across the day
- Free snacks and sports drinks for people that have a go
- Accuracy comps for those that don’t want to run around
